Nudist History Exhibit

November 1-3, 2024:  Nudist History Exhibition presented by nudist historian Lee will be open in the recreation hall Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 8 pm. On display will be vintage photos, videos, magazines, newsletters and memorabilia from the history of Lake Como and nudism in Pasco County. Free to Lake Como members and Lake Como registered guests. 

Please note: to accommodate expo set-up, display & tear-down, all other rec hall use is preempted from noon Oct. 31 through midnight Nov. 3.)

Lake Como was chartered April 25, 1941 as the Florida Athletic and Health Association as Pasco County’s first nudist resort and it is Florida’s oldest nudist resort continuously occupying the same grounds.

Swimming in the lake, sunning & volleyball were the principle activities early on – there were no tennis courts till the 60s – (We now have five clay courts) – & no pool till the 80s.
