Weekly Nets: 
Every Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM on our GMRS repeater channel – Practice using your radio, verify it’s working correctly, keep it charged and most of all have fun! Each Wednesday, LCRC holds a “Net” where everyone with a radio listens in on the repeater channel. The Net operator will make a short announcement and then ask everyone to check in. The Car Show returns to Lake Como, now hosted by NNEAR.org, a 501(c) 3 organization “Normalizing Nudity by Education, Advocacy & Research”. The event is open to all domestic and foreign cars, trucks & motorcycles, and swap shops. There will be music, food, vendors, a 50/50 drawing, and trophies (1st and 2nd, Best of Show, etc). Live (or living dead) ghouls and goblins will be lurking on the trail in the evenings Friday Oct. 24, Saturday Oct. 25, Friday October 31 (Halloween) and Saturday Nov. 1, when golf cart excursions will be offered.

The goal of this clinic is to introduce basic movement and skills necessary to improve your pickleball experience.

Lake Como’s Rules & Regulations were recently revised and approved, and are scheduled to go into effect September 1, 2025. The new Rules – and the old 2021 Rules – may be viewed on the Co-op page.  The new Rules have also been posted on the back side of the bulletin board by the mailboxes.

Hurricane Season officially begins June 1st

In the event of a tropical storm or hurricane, Lake Como will be following all government emergency advisories and recommendations. Note that in the event of a mandatory evacuation order for mobile home parks, NO building in Lake Como is approved as a storm/hurricane shelter. The opening and location of local shelters will be announced as conditions warrant by Pasco County.

Join the Fun in the New Year: Share Your Ideas & Volunteer!

We’re excited to shake things up with fresh activities and events for 2025—and we need your creativity and enthusiasm to make it happen! Do you have an idea for a fun activity or event and are interested in hosting it? We’ll provide a budget to help you bring your idea to life! Have great ideas but not looking to host? No problem! Share your thoughts with us, and we’ll see how they may be implemented. Here are a few ideas that have already been shared – some of these were already done in the past, and might be brought back again. Let us know if you’d like to host any of these, or bring your own ideas to the table!
