event proposal UPDATE: On-the-Fence Flash Art show
We had 6 artists respond so far to this proposal to have a one-day display of member art. So, we’ve set a date of Saturday February 15th.
For now, we’ll go with the suggestion to have the display outside along the fence on Cot Rd. between the North Grove and the office, for maximum visibility to those coming into the resort. We might change the location if there’s a better idea.
Any others who might consider displaying their art in this manner, please drop me an email at michaelk@lakecomonaturally.com

FREE BODY ARTS: Henna & Alcohol Tattoos
Hello! I’m Mun, a Como snowbird RV resident who enjoys doing temporary body art tattoos. I have henna, which dries on your skin in about two hours; washing it off leaves an orange stain, which turns brown the next day – it fades completely after about three weeks. I also have several colors of alcohol ink, which dries instantly and lasts up to three days. I do this only for fun, not for money. Contact me at 215-720-9404 – or, if you see me dragging my wagon behind me at the pool or elsewhere, and I would be so happy to give you the art you want. I can also do private sessions if you’re shy.
.Announcing a discussion/practice meditation group based on Eckhart Tolle’s book “The Power of Now”.

The meetings are to consist of perhaps 10 minutes of reading from any of Tolle’s works, 20 minutes of group discussion, and 15 minutes of silent meditation practice. If you’re interested in being part of this group, please text Terry Finnegan at 412-521-8074.
